Installation times vary dependent on a number of factors, including the quantity of indoor units, pipe distances and system specification.
Generally speaking, a basic system installation will usually take 1-2 days per number of indoor units.
This allows sufficient time for a high-quality installation and comprehensive commissioning procedure.
Our systems require a dedicated 240v power supply to be provided to the outdoor unit. This can be provided by our electrical contractor if required as an additional cost.
The required supply fuse size will vary dependant on the duty requirements of the system.
We advise that all systems should receive a yearly service – as a minimum – to ensure the system is running correctly and uphold any manufacturing warranties.
For systems containing over 2.4kg of refrigerant, 12-month inspections become a legal requirement.
Correctly installed air conditioning systems should not need to be re-gassed or topped up with refrigerant unless there is a fault within the system.
In order for the air conditioning system to run efficiently, an outdoor unit needs to be positioned in a well-ventilated external area.
We advise against installing the outdoor condenser unit within roof spaces due to lack of airflow and excess dust particles.
